2016/12/21 Approval of the New Work Item Proposal from Japan for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO): “Biotechnology – General requirements to establish specification of cell transportation”

As one of the collaborative activities at FIRM between its Standardization Committee and Supporting Industries Committee,
and under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, activities have been conducted for establishing
international standardizations in the area of regenerative medicine industry and related fields.
This time, the new work item proposal on establishing specification of cell transportation has been submitted from Japan
and approved for the ISO/TC 276 Biotechnology through relevant international selection procedures (as of December 12, 2016).
The approved proposal is one of the outcomes from our activities at FIRM on establishing specification of cell transportation.
